Barely accomidates a 4 month old., June 17, 2010 By This is a beautiful crib. If you're looking for a temporary bassinet that is aesthetically pleasing than I'd recommend it.
However, I purchased it with the intention of getting 2 years of use from it and doubt I will even get 1.
My daughter will be 4 months next week an her head and feet almost reach both ends. She is in the 90th percentile for length, still, I just can't see how a 24 month old could comfortably fit.
It's quite an investment for limited use when you factor in the mattress, sheets, bumper, etc.

It's beautiful and good quality, smooth wheels, but my 3+ months girl barely fits in it. I have to cover the sides so she doesn't hang her arms out or hit her head (even though bumpers aren't recommended), and there isn't enough room for her to roll over (which she doesn't do yet but she will soon). I'm sure it can hold the weight of a 24 months old but no way a baby bigger than 6 months could sleep in it. Maybe if swaddled. We'll be moving my girl to a bigger one pretty soon. Sooner than we expected.

The crib was perfect for our small space. The crib set-up easily next to our bed. The wheels made it easy to move around. When we moved out of state, we simply folded up the crib and put it in the back of our SUV along with the luggage and dog. I preferred using the crib rather than a pack-and-play for a newborn. My daughter is now 16-months old and in the 50% percentile height for her age. She still fits in the crib and likes the cozy space.
